Rainwater is filtered and purified through thick, thousands-of-years-old sand layers, after which it settles as groundwater in the heart of the ridge. This groundwater is the soul of our vodka.

The Legacy.

Pure Essence is a Finnish alcohol manufacturer with roots dating back to 1860, when farmer Juhan Matinolli received an official distillation permit in Oulu — at a time when Finland was part of the Russian Empire under Alexander II. The original permit is still kept at the factory.
